The Facilitator can explain what is happening in your case and help you to understand your options. The Facilitator can explain legal concepts and help you to understand how to complete and prepare your own forms. The Facilitator can also help you understand how to get your legal documents properly served and filed with the court.
The Facilitator is available to see both parents who have questions concerning family law matters. The goal of the Facilitator is to help you to better represent yourself. The Family Law Facilitator is not your attorney. There is no confidentiality created between the Facilitator and a person using these services. You should consult with your own attorney if you want personalized advice or strategy, to have a confidential conversation, or to be represented by an attorney in court.
